town" is a perfect example of Georgian town planning.
Its highly distinctive, white-walled look is complemented
by the picturesque setting on the shores of Loch Fyne. The
harbour is now home to the Arctic Penguin, a three masted
schooner built in 1911, and now the town's Maritime Heritage
Centre. The town itself offers plenty to see and do, including
the highly entertaining Inveraray Jail, the Maritime Museum
and a beautiful Inveraray Castle and Gardens.
