Cross the Atlantic Bridge to the Isle of Seil, only 6 miles from Oban – The Queen of the Western Isles. Oban offers the amenities of a larger town and a fantastic opportunity to explore the outer Isles. (Mull, Iona, Coll etc.)

This unique location has stunning views and sunsets over the mountains of Mull and outer Isles. The property is a former slaters cottage,for the past fifty years has been the home of the late Poet, Artist and Composer C John Taylor, it overlooks the small harbour with the local passenger ferry to Easdale Island. Sea-fari operates from Ellenabeich offering exhilarating trips to the World Famous Corrievreckan Whirlpools.

The Annex lounge
At the base of dramatic cliffs on the western edge of Seil Island the neat white washed cottages of Ellenabeich were built by slate quarry men working on nearby Easdale Island. In its heyday 600 families lived both here and on the island and the industry thrived until 1881 when severe storms flooded the quarries.

Today Ellenabeich is a peaceful and picturesque holiday destination with spectacular views. This property was originally the workshop of the late C John Taylor, Poet, Artist and Composer. In a beautiful location on the waters edge, facing the jetty and taking advantage of the wonderful seascape. This newly refurbished cottage has a sunny interior, compact, fresh and modern with a cosy cottage atmosphere. It is all one level with ramp access.

The Annex: 1 double bedroom, living room with double bed settee and picture window open plan to dinning/kitchen corner, shower room (off bedroom) with access to large shared back garden.
